About

You want to meet people. We help you find somewhere to do it.

Manx Teams is a free map of the teams, clubs and groups on the Isle of Man: sport, faith, arts, service, hobbies and more. It exists so that making friends here is as easy as turning up.

The problem

The island has hundreds of small groups doing interesting things every week, and most of them are short of people. The trouble is finding them. They are scattered across Facebook groups, noticeboards, church halls and word of mouth, so someone new to the island, or new to a stage of life, can go months without hearing about the very thing they would love. That is a waste on both sides.

What this is

One map, one list, every kind of group. Filter by what you fancy, who it is for, which part of the island and which night you are free, then open a listing to see where it meets, what it costs and whether beginners are welcome. Every team links to its own page you can send to a friend, and a "Bring a friend" button writes the invite for you.

Who runs it

This site is run by Michael Josem, an Isle of Man resident, as a public service. Listings come from the groups themselves and from public sources like their own websites and social pages. Every submission and correction is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and any group can update or remove its listing at any time.

If a listing is wrong, missing, or you have an idea that would make the site more useful, email michael@michaeljosem.com. Suggestions genuinely shape what gets built next.

What we promise

If your group is not here

Add it. It takes two minutes and there is no account to create. Every listing you add saves the next person the search you just did. And if the thing you want does not exist yet, here is how to start it.
